SENIOR C++ SOFTWARE ENGINEER

NEW CONTRACT OPPORTUNITY AVAILABLE FOR A SENIOR C++ SOFTWARE ENGINEER

• We have a contract opportunity for a Senior C++ Software Engineer in Newport
• Must have active SC Clearance or be eligible to obtain SC Clearance
• £600 - £650 Per Day
• Inside IR35
• Initial 6 Month Contract

WHO WE ARE?

We are National Security & Defence specialists and we are currently recruiting for high-level clearance Software Engineers for UK National Security, Government, and Defence Markets.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• Implementation of Windows application software in C++
• Strong knowledge of the .NET web framework
• Object oriented analysis, design and development documented using UML
• Must be familiar with process driven software development
• Must have experience of software systems design & implementation for networking communications in a commercial and/or military environment

DESIRABLE SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• Experience of full project lifecycle
• Experience of Requirements Management (e.g. using DOORS)
• Experience of software implementation of data or voice network protocols (TCP/IP, SNMP, VOIP)
• Knowledge of cryptographic techniques and their application in products/systems
• Experience of formal software configuration management
